ACCESS TO THE PARK

At what age can my child come to Parc Asterix alone?

We discourage access to Parc Asterix to minors who are not accompanied; however, we do accept young people 13 and older. Parents are held responsible nevertheless.

I left my children off at the park, how do I pick them up ?

When you arrive at the ticket windows at the entrance of the park you can fix a meeting place with your children in front of the Maison de l’Oise which is to the left of the turnstiles at the entrance.

Where can I find a wheel chair ?

At our welcome desk, at the entrance of the park, you can borrow a wheel chair for the day by presenting an identity card and a deposit of 20€. Reminder : the number of wheel chairs is limited.

Are there parking spaces reserved for handicapped visitors?

Yes, ask the parking agent who will indicate the spots reserved for handicapped visitors. They are situated in parking lot P1, near the ticket windows.

I am handicapped ; do I have priority in waiting lines ?

If you present a card attesting to 80% disability, access to attractions is usually conducted through the exits. Identify yourself at the welcome desk and a special guide for the handicapped will assist you during your visit. The number of specialized guides is limited.

I am ill, but I do not have a card attesting to an infirmity. Do I still have priority in waiting lines?

Priority is accorded only upon presentation of a card attesting to 80% infirmity.

May I enter the park with my dog ?

Animals are not accepted in the park. For a charge a kennel is made available at parking lot n° 6. An individual cage and a bucket of water are provided, but no care is proposed. A certificate of vaccination will be requested by the agent responsible.

How do I get to the park ?

You have the choice between car, RER, bus, train or airplane … For details, CLICK HERE

Is it possible to leave someone off at the entrance the to the park ?

Of course. Before paying it is possible to inform the agent who will indicate the spots reserved for leaving people off at the park.

What is the best day to come to avoid crowds ?

If possible, come during the week and avoid holidays. If you can only come on weekends, Saturday is preferable.

Is there room for everyone in the last shuttle ?

Of course. The shuttle buses wait for the closing of the park before heading back to Roissy. However, Parc Asterix cannot be held responsible for problems occurring during the return trip.

What does the expression « Access not guaranteed on days of extreme affluence indicated on the tickets mean?

It means that, in the case of closing due to too large a crowd, no ticket has priority. Closings are rare and usually happen on a Sunday. For this reason it is preferable to arrive on the Park before 10AM.

Why are visitors charged for parking ?

You pay for the right to park and for tax to the “SANEF”, the highway company (there is no toll booth when you exit at Parc Astérix)

TICKETS

I still have tickets from last year. Are they still valid?

The period of validity is printed on the ticket. Please check it.

I have an invitation from last year. Is it still valid?

Invitations, like promotions, are valid for only one season.

I have a ticket valid for 2 days. Can I choose when to use the second day?

A 2-day ticket is to be used for 2 consecutive days.

What do I have to do to convert a child’s ticket to an adult ticket ?

At the ticket windows at the entrance you have the possibility of paying the sum necessary to convert a child’s ticket to an adult ticket.

I’d like to buy a ticket with no stipulation of a specific date for my daughter. How can I do this?

You can buy a ticket without a specific date at the ticket windows at the entrance. It will be valid for an entire season. Be sure to indicate to the cashier that you do not want a ticket for a specific date. You can likewise purchase an Open Ticket online.

We are in a group, but we would like to have individual tickets. Is this possible?

You have the possibility of purchasing tickets as a group if you are buying at least 20 tickets. For tickets to be sent by mail, you must obligatorily pay when you book, at least 3 weeks in advance.

At what age do we qualify for a reduced rate for seniors?

Once you are 60 – on the condition that you show an identity card, an emerald or a vermillion card.

If I have a FNAC card, do I have the right to a reduction ?

To obtain a reduction accorded by the FNAC, the purchase has to take place at a FNAC selling point.

Do you accept “carte pass” ?

This means of payment is not accepted at the park nor at the ticket windows

Do you accept “cheques vacances” ?

« Cheques vacances” are accepted in all food services, parking lots and ticket windows. We do not give change if you have the possibility of paying the exact sum with another means of payment.

FOOD SERVICES IN THE PARK

Do you accept “cheques restaurant”?

Parc Astérix is not authorised to accept “Cheques Restaurants.”

Is it possible to picnic in the Park ?

There are picnic areas inside the park. You can also leave the grounds to have lunch in shaded areas outside the park near the bus parking lots.

How many restaurants are there in the park ?

Food lovers will find that the choice is not limited. There are numerous restaurants on the grounds: 6 theme restaurants, a crepe shop, 4 sandwich places, 1 bakery and 11 stands with “sweet” or “salty” food.

ATTRACTIONS AND SHOWS

How many attractions do not admit individuals shorter than 1m20 or 1m40?

Out of 31 attractions, only 7 require a minimum height of 1m20 or 1m40. 10 others require a minimum height of 1m. Children measuring less than 1m should obligatorily be accompanied by a responsible adult.

If it rains, what attractions remain open ?

In the event of strong rain or a storm, it does happen that, for your security, we temporarily close down attractions. (There is no reimbursement due to weather conditions.)

Is it possible to be informed of the timetable for the shows?

The timetable for shows varies according to the crowds in the park. Not knowing the number of spectators, it is impossible to communicate a timetable for shows ahead of time. However, the day of your visit timetables are communicated at the entrance to the site.

Is it possible to swim with the dolphins?

For your security, it is strictly forbidden.

Is it possible to touch the dolphins ?

For reasons of security and for the health of the dolphins, only trainers are authorized to touch them. In the dolphinarium you can see the dolphins close up through portholes!

PURCHASES IN THE PARK

I would like to exchange an article that has a defect. What should I do?

Send your article along with the receipt to : Permanence Services Marchands - Parc Astérix - BP8 – 60128 – Plailly. This department will take care of the exchange.

Can your products be found any place other than in « Asterix » shops in the park ?

We do not have shops outside the park. We suggest that you profit from your visit to purchase the articles that interest you!

I have too many purchases to carry. Is there a place where I can leave them?

We have an even better solution! The “Smart Service” allows you to leave your purchases in the shops, to profit fully from your day, and, at the end of your visit, from 16h30 on, to pick up everything you bought at the entrance to the park.

I lost an object during my visit, whom should I contact ?

Contact the Welcome Service 03 44 62 31 90 which is in charge of lost and found or send an email to the following address :

If I lose a child on the grounds whom should I address?

All children who are lost are brought to the Welcome Desk. To avoid this kind of problem, do not hesitate to agree upon on a meeting place where you can find each other. The Parc Asterix also provides bracelets that allow you to clearly indicate the identity of the child and the telephone number where you can be reached.

Are strollers available inside the park ?

Strollers are available to visitors at the entrance to the park near the Welcome Desk. They are free but the number is limited.

Is there a taxi service in the park ?

We do not have a taxi service but it is possible to call a taxi from the Welcome Desk.

Is it possible to send mail from the Parc Asterix ?

Yes, there are mail boxes at the Welcome Service.

I would like to withdraw money from an ATM machine, is it possible in the park?

Yes, there are 3 ATM machines in the park, 2 at the entrance at the “Crédit Latin”, and the other at the post office which is in the middle of the park, Rue de Paris.

Is it possible to leave a large suitcase at a cloak room ?

Yes, you have a free cloak room at the Welcome Service at the entrance to the park
