Whether the sky is clear and bright or there are a couple of raindrops, our Park is designed to give you an outstanding experience in all weather conditions. With a host of activities and attractions to suit every kind of weather, there’s always a reason to smile and have fun at Parc Astérix.
VISIT PARC ASTÉRIX IN THE SUNSHINE
Discover the Park’s seven water attractions and feel the exhilaration of their aquatic thrills.
Start with The Pirate's Revenge - The Big Splash with its waves and water jets. Continue with The Menhir Express and its spectacular 43ft drop for refreshing thrills and spills. Then plunge into the tumultuous rapids of Romulus and Rapidus – perfect for cooling off while having fun. Be drawn into a giant spiral with The Nile Ride, a cool, whirling, adrenalin-rush descent. For a guaranteed splash, climb aboard the small boats of Hydrolix.
For a more leisurely but just as refreshing ride, Ekonomikrisis Cruises show you scenes from Gaulish life, with water effects to keep you cool. Finally, round off your day with A River in Ilia, a leisurely trip through landscapes inspired by Ancient Greece.
VISIT PARC ASTÉRIX IN THE RAIN
Even when it’s raining, Parc Astérix remains a destination of choice thanks to its indoor activities. Attend the first Gaulish musical ‘This is Madness !’ for a good dose of laughter and entertainment.
Explore The Asterix Adventure, an interactive trail that plunges you into the world of the famous Gauls. And don’t miss Beware Menhirs!, a 4D cinema experience with immersive special effects. With these sheltered activities, Parc Astérix guarantees a fun and memorable day out, whatever the weather.
WHEN TO VISIT PARC ASTÉRIX
Here are a few suggestions about the ideal time to visit to make the most of Parc Astérix:
- Spring (April-May): This period generally offers pleasant temperatures and sunny days, without being too hot. Visitor numbers are often lower than in the summer months.
- Early summer (June): The days are longer and the weather is often favourable for enjoying the outdoor attractions. This is a good time to avoid the heat and crowds of peak summer.
- End of summer (September): After the summer period, September still offers pleasant weather conditions, but is less busy than July and August.
- Special periods: Parc Astérix organises special events throughout the year, such as Terror in the Park during Halloween or Gaulish Christmas, which add a themed touch and can offer a unique experience.
